We take photography of your property seriously!
A picture tells a thousand words and we want to make sure that the photos that are taken to represent your property are not only good, but truly reflective of your property. That's why we don't use fish eye lenses or color filters to distort our photos and never use photoshop to change the photos. Why? Because the people looking at your home want to see the truest representation.
Our photography goes beyond the typical still photography with our drone photos and videos of your property. We don't know of any other realtor in our area using this professional means of photographing properties. With some properties, especially those on high elevation lots, aerial photography is the only way to truly capture your property and your views. Jack Jensen is the Owner/Broker of Jensen Realty.
A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Jack is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Business Administration/Finance. Jack moved to the mountains of North Carolina in 1983 when his family purchased the Switzerland Inn in Little Switzerland. He graduated from the prestigious Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida before relocating to Little Switzerland.
During his career Jack has worked in many areas including the banking industry and Kraft Foods before beginning his career in the family business where he worked for over twenty years at the Switzerland Inn. After a leukemia diagnosis and subsequent treatment, Jack realized that he was being called to teach. He returned to Appalachian State to acquire his licensure to teach Business Education and Math. Today he enjoys teaching high school Algebra in McDowell County while continuing to help visitors and locals alike with their real estate needs. With nearly three decades of living and working in the Little Switzerland and High Country area, Jack has a vast knowledge of the area and its many amenities.
Jack is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hunting, motorcycling and four wheeling in our beautiful mountains. He enjoys sharing his love and knowledge of fishing with others as a fishing guide in the area. Hiking and floating the river are also activities he enjoys with his family. Jack is married with two daughters who also share his love of the area and often join him on fishing and hiking excursions.
Jack’s extensive knowledge of the Little Switzerland area comes from having lived in Little Switzerland as well as working at the landmark Switzerland Inn and learning from the local residents as well as guests visiting the area. For the past twenty years Jack has lived, worked and played in the western North Carolina mountains and has extensive knowledge of the area and its amenities. From where to find the best views to the secret fishing holes, Jack can help you find your perfect mountain home or property.
